I graduated in Environmental Engineering from the University of Padua (Italy) in 2012. In 2016 I got my Ph.D. from the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering Sciences at the University of Padua with a thesis titled “Data Assimilation in Geomechanics: Characterization of hydrocarbon reservoirs” advised by Prof. G. Gambolati. I was a two-year Postdoctoral Fellow with Prof. M. Ferronato at the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering at the same University studying the problem of induced seismicity due to the exploitation of subsurface resources. I am currently working in the same department with Prof. Pietro Teatini on modeling the above-ground behavior of shallow soils in intertidal environments by coupling groundwater flow and consolidation models.
